Back-to-School With ASPIRE

If you are in need of quality school-age care this fall, ASPIRE could be your answer!

Services are provided from 6:30 - 8:00 am and 3:30 - 6:00 pm Monday through Friday during the school year for students in Junior Kindergarten through 5th grade.  Children will receive supervision from quality staff in the safe environment of the East Union School building.  They will benefit from homework help and tutoring, nutritious snacks, physical and academic enrichment activities, while developing positive character and social skills.  Tuition is income-based on a sliding scale basis.  To apply for tuition assistance, please bring copies of your 2013 tax return and last month’s pay stubs.

In addition to ASPIRE’s daily services, new programming is being designed for the Early Out Teacher In-Service days.  On those days when school is dismissed at 12:30, kids will have the opportunity to experience “Science With A Twist”.  These afternoons will be conducted at the school, supervised by ASPIRE staff, with fun, hands-on science projects led by Mrs. Cheryl Purdum for a fee of only $10 each.  Registration forms will be sent home in blue folders prior to each event and the events are open to all East Union students JK - 5th grade.

ASPIRE staff will be available at the East Union High School Library for registration on Monday, August 4th, 8 am - 8 pm.  For more information, stop by the ASPIRE “More” Learning Center & Thrift Store located on the Union County Fairgrounds or call Tammy Ross at 641-347-8777.
